Designed for busy hospitality spaces where durability and personality matter equally.
Terreno Club wanted interiors that felt joyful, welcoming and full of character. From restoring restaurant seating to creating bespoke outdoor cushions, every detail was handcrafted to bring Mercedes López's vision to life.
The Story
The project combined two very different environments: the interior restaurant and the outdoor members' club.
Inside, existing bench seating required extensive structural repairs after years of water damage. Outside, every cushion was made entirely from scratch, creating bespoke seating designed specifically for the club's furniture.
Inspired by Slim Aarons, Palm Springs and the effortless glamour of 1970s Los Angeles, every colour, texture and trim was chosen to create spaces people wanted to spend time in.
Behind the Making
The interior seating was rebuilt using marine plywood before being upholstered in a beautiful wool-blend fabric, chosen for both its colour palette and natural fire-retardant qualities.
Outside, every base board and cushion was custom made. Five different cushion shapes were produced, complete with handcrafted fringe and wave trim details.
The reversible outdoor cushions feature two distinct looks, solid on one side and striped on the other, all made using premium solution-dyed acrylic fabrics designed to withstand Mallorca's climate.
